The caterpillars get fat by eating leaves. They make cocoons and turn into butterflies inside. Then they come out when they are ready.

Hi Charis I think caterpillars are neat.And in your picture of the caterpillars there are a lot of caterpillars!
I like doing crafts and I draw butterflies.
