Singapore Zoo and Night Safari
The best thing we did in Singapore was go to the zoo and the night safari. It rained most of the day so we got wet, but the temperature was warm. The zoo is in a rain forrest. You can see the animals very close. Ani is looking at a polar bear swimming. My favourite animal was the leopard. He kept walking right past me on the other side of the glass!
The night safari was even better than the zoo. It was right next door. We went on a walk in the dark and saw animals being fed dinner. The fishing cat was funny playing with his food. We went on a tram ride through the night safari. There was a good show to see too with some otters doing tricks. We don't have any photos of the night safari because you are not allowed to take photos of the animals there because it hurts their eyes. You'll have to see it for yourself someday!
The traffic is very busy in Bangkok. We caught taxis and went on the skytrain. We nearly had an accident because our taxi driver was in a hurry and he didn't see a tuk tuk. He slammed on the brakes and said "aiy-yaaa!" It is very hard to cross the road, so people walk up lots of stairs to walkways over the roads and to the skytrain.
We went to the Night Markets at Lumpini with Daddy's friend from work, Khun June. They had a giant ferris wheel. You can see all over Bangkok from the top. It was a bit scary. Jana didn't come on it - she looked after the pram on the ground. Khun June also took us to the Chutachuk markets during the daytime by the skytrain. It was busy like a beehive with so many people there. It was also very hot and sweaty. Mum put straps on me so that I wouldn't get lost. You can buy everything there. I got a hat, a bag and a fan. It was fun looking at all the stuff.
The King and Queen
This is my favourite picture of the king and queen. In Bangkok and Phuket there are pictures of the king everywhere doing different things. He is on billboards next to the road and on the side of buildings. If you go to eat at a restaurant or into a shop or bank, his picture is on the wall somewhere, maybe on a calendar.
King's Palace at Bangkok
The royal palace had a very big wall all the way around it. Along the wall were several very big doors. I knocked on one door, but they didn't open it. Inside there were many glittering buildings and gardens. We were there for the king's birthday, but he wasn't at the palace. We saw him on TV. I had my photo taken with a palace guard. He helped us to cross the road by blowing his whistle at the traffic. Lots of people wore yellow t-shirts on the king's birthday because it is his favourite colour.

Layan beach at low tide
Hello everyone! We went to a secret beach and I caught hermit crabs. Hermit crabs make lots of patterns in the sand.
At my house I have got a secret cubby and it has doors.
You can click on the place you put comments because I have written back to you there if you wrote a letter to me.
